Mauro Colagreco is the executive chef of Mirazur, a fine and sophisticated restaurant overlooking the sea, just a few steps away from the Italian border.
Mauro graduate at “La Rochelle Hotel School” and every day he was passing by his future restaurants without knowing that one day that beautiful restaurant would be his own ” dream come true” place.
Before he opened Mirazur Chef Mauro worked with some of the finest French chefs such as Bernard Loiseau, Alain Passard, Alain Ducasse and Guy Martin. to mention few.
The 1930’s building is on three levels on the hillside, surrounded by lush vegetation and breathtaking view.
The superb and, spacious dining room offers a panoramic view of the turquoise sea and of the town of Menton all through large windows running all around the building.
The bar is located on the lower floor, and trough the glasses you can see the team busy working in the kitchen that extends into a small terrace.
Down a few steps, the orchard garden full of fragrant herbs and citrus is a precious source of inspiration for Mauro Colagreco when dreaming up his dishes.
