Gianni Ristorante –Bangkok – Thailand

Upon visiting Gianni Ristorante, one would find themselves in a quiet courtyard, located conveniently within walking distance of Bangkok´s

major shopping district. We take pride in our sophisticated and elegant décor, inclusive of a Mediterranean-bluesy feel, and a painted mural covering a section of the restaurant.

Bright and airy, the restaurant is fitting any occasion. Chef/Patron Gianni Favro has earned an enviable reputation in Bangkok´s culinary circles for providing both warm and personal clientele services, and first-class Italian cuisine. Gianni insists on personally overseeing each detail of the restaurant, paying special attention to ordering the freshest ingredients available, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.

Our Philosophy…

We like to think of our restaurant as a theatre in which we are able to perform every day. The dishes, the wines, the setting, even the music we play, is maneuvered and organized to play an important role. The actors are the people who contribute to this production, and who have learned to love it as much as we do; the cooks, the sommeliers, the maîtres d’hôtel, the vegetable growers, and also the cleaners and the gardeners. They are in full understanding regarding the importance of their roles, aimed at giving our guests an unforgettable dining experience.

Our Wines…

Our wine cellar is certainly unique. We are able to offer 250 labels of the most representative wines, all of which are imported directly from Italy. Not only do we ensure on having an extensive collection of the highest qualities of wine, but we also acknowledge and act upon the fact that they need to be kept and housed at exact and constant temperatures. – All the wines are stored in specialized refrigerators, as we strongly believe that wines should not be exposed to the heat of any kind. Upon opening our wine storages, one would find the ‘King’ Barolo, bubbles from Franciacorta and the rising stars of Southern Italy, the Tuscans.
