Gradisca – New York – USA

Since Gradisca first opened in 2000, it set out to offer the most authentic Italian dining experience outside of Italy.

Named after the vivacious beauty in Federico Fellini’s movie Amarcord, Gradisca is faithful to its namesake in every way. Situated in the basement of a historic brownstone built in the early 1900s, the exposed brick, blood-red walls, and candlelit tables give the place a timelessly sexy, fun ambiance. The menu is a combination of classics and innovative modern dishes, accompanied by a Wine Spectator-awarded wine list, craft cocktails, and more.

Soon after its debut Eric Asimov, food writer and restaurant critic for the New York Times, praised Gradisca as “the immortal trattoria, dressed for the age

Gradisca may be of the moment, but its appeal is timeless”. Today, Gradisca continues to be a destination for New Yorkers and travelers alike.
