Bricco – New York – USA

Bricco in italian means “kettle or pot” but is also the name of a wine label, not sure if Nino Catuogno named his restaurants after the kettle or after the label but I find the name very “sfizioso” very unique and cute. Bricco restaurant is an established Italian restaurant located just steps away from the Theater District and Central Park, the owner Mr Catuogno is a veteran in the hospitality business with over 45 years of experience. Mr. Catuogno comes from the island of Capri one of the most beautiful island in the mediterranean sea or I I should say one of the most beautiful island in the world. In a recent interview Mr Catuogno said : “I designed my restaurant to feel like my home. Just as I enjoy decorating my home with fresh flowers and playing Italian music in the background, you are welcomed to Bricco by refreshing flowers wherever you look and calmed by soft Italian music.”
