Basta Pasta was first established in Tokyo, Japan in 1985.

The restaurant was designed with an open kitchen with the concept of having a cooking show in the restaurant.

Customers enjoyed the entertainment and the course of food there.

After some successful years in Tokyo, Basta Pasta NYC opened its door at the Chelsea location in 1990.

Chef Takada’s authentic, but still creative Italian dishes have been attracting and accepted by people from all over the world for over a decade.
