Owner Vincenzo Mangiafridda, a twenty-year restaurant veteran of the Upper East Side, wanted to open a restaurant that spoke to his deep Sicilian roots. He sought a balance between the old and new worlds, a combination of classic Italian cuisine and modern presentation. At 83 1/2, his vision become reality
